Improve My Game Jam 27 - Finished
Hey fellow tank enthusiasts!
I'm excited to share the latest update for my game, "Tank Therapy," which I've been working on during the "Improve My Game Jam 27" over the past week. While I had ambitious plans for this jam, I'm still thrilled with the improvements I managed to implement, especially in the action gameplay department.
One of the significant changes I made in this update is enhancing the player's experience by making their tank faster and more agile. Now, you'll have the thrill of maneuvering through the battlefield with increased speed and a touch of wiggly movement. These improvements should give the game a more dynamic and engaging feel.
Additionally, I spent considerable time refining the controls, aiming to make them snappier and more responsive. I believe precise controls are essential in any action game, and I'm confident that players will appreciate the improved handling of their tanks.
One of the major updates I'm particularly proud of is the differentiation between direct fire and indirect fire. This distinction adds depth to the gameplay and strategic possibilities. Now, players can choose between a direct approach, where their shots hit the target immediately, or opt for an indirect attack, where they calculate the trajectory and lead their shots to hit enemies behind cover. I feel this change adds a lot of depth and tactical decision-making to the game.
However, I must acknowledge that a few small camera glitches were inadvertently introduced during this update. While they may occasionally occur, they should not hinder your ability to play the game.
Stay tuned for more updates and enhancements to "Tank Therapy" in the near future!
Happy tanking!
Daniel
